St. Matthew's Primary
St. Matthew’s Catholic Primary School opened in 1984 as a primary systemic school within the Archdiocese of Brisbane. The school is presently administered by the sisters of St. Joseph and staffed by lay teachers.
At St. Matthew’s we strive to create a happy, co-operative atmosphere among parents, pupils and staff which encourages the children towards an integration of faith and life. The school emphasizes the central place of Jesus in its life and implements structures that enable pupils to experience Gospel values and their Catholic Christian heritage.
St. Matthew’s Parish has got a youth group. It was formed on 19th June 2015. Meetings will be once a fortnight. There are some activities youth group will do: organize events in the parish, involvement in Mass, outings, camping at spiritual areas, forming a youth band; sport games, praying rosary, having guest speakers for group, quizzes.
